Workplace safety has been a crusade of mine for many years.
I have been providing patient care for over 20 years and have been a victim of violence in the workplace and a witness to violence against other nurses and health care personnel.
Rather than just be a statistic or part of the problem I chose to be proactive and a part of the solution.

My personal and professional vision for my future as an advanced practice nurse is to combine my love for psychiatric nursing and information technology.
This is an exciting time to be a nurse and to be able to share knowledge with others.
